Happy b=day nphw!! All of the elements are there: a "non-milk" mustache, a smile and baseball. who could ask for anything more. Enjoy your day.
Good mornin' and thanks everyone, I had a really nice day yesterday. The kids were very excited it was my birthday yesterday, not sure if it was the daddy love or knowing that they were getting cake later on. Ehhhh, who cares... I just love the attention.
Should we all play the game, "What's in KDH's coffee"? Sounds like... Chad Durbin.
... or we could play the game the transit authority play with her every time she tries to get on a plane. It's called, "Excuse Ms., what's in that flask"?
Happy Birthday Nephew!!! We will celebrate tomorrow at the annual chowder memorial day picnic Good Gary and Cookie are at yankee stadium this weekend. To mY bRother: Are you even trying this week?? got offered celine dion tickets from my boss, so jnna and I will take in her show next week. was a little under the weather the other day, actually called in, still not 100%, but I am bringing my "A" game to HFFB! see everyone who can make it tomorrow Where do I get my MCCAIN/PALIN sign? OBTW, who is she anywhoo???
Very pleased with McCain's pick for the VEEP spot. Contrary to what my cousins Jeff and Sandra may think after stopping by my house; but I am a loyal Republican!
Just ignore the sign on my lawn for a dem in the senate seat.
Had a very nice evening last nite, and nephew and his lovely wife stopped by! Very fun Got a call from cookie in the 7th, seems some pesky Giants fans were going after cookie and good gary, once they found out they were from buffalo, and of course they had to bring up that painful 1990 super bowl. Cookie needed to know who the giants QB was that forgetful game, and in unisynce, UG and Jff both announced Hostetler, Simms was hurt, So cookie had her info and off she went to battle the giants fans. I hope she is still pretty quick, and she knows that she is outnumbered! enjoy the day all, should be a great one!
Thanks for letting Sandra and I empty out your fridge full of Bud Light... I'm a Blue man, but when its free, it always tastes better. Thanks again.... how did Jll know nady was going to make that catch... she has incredible powers.
You never can have too many 3 oz. flasks. Good call. Your daddy most be proud.
Great time yesterday and thnx sis and BG for the food and fun. Lots of work but much appreciated. I knew that I should have knocked Ms. Opera out of my folding chair on departure, but you know me, Mr. Niceguy, and now it will probably cost me Favre to get my chair from nc jnn, at least according to my phone message threat. Wish I had been able to translate the pig latin exchange between my baby sis and nphw jff; could have had lots of fun talking about the outcome of yesterday's yanx game. Always a good time. Enjoy what looks to b e a beautiful day. Any chance of chowder leftovers being fed-exed this way???
Your chair is safe and sound in my trunk awaiting delivery next week. Let me know what day is best for you and I will gladly drop it off. But, it will cost you!
Who would ever leave a threatning message on your machine???????
What a great time we had yesterday! and the chowder, OMG, award winning! UG outdid himself! It hit the spot! You know I had to piglatin the outcome of the yankee game to Jff! LOL! At one point, gramma, margarite and UC were inthe driveway, and there combined ages, well lets just say it was older than America! KDH, your house looks amazing! AP had the pix, and of course gg said, I wish I could see it, I said you just did, pointing to the picture! Adm, you are not to busy to do HFFF! pick up the slack and participate, partypooper! I was cruising along, beating my brother til yesterday! not sure what happened? enjoy this sunny day!
I had a great time with Emma tonight. She spent the evening at my house. While we were playing Nintendo, she looked at me and said, "Can you see your toes when you stand up?" I replied, "sometimes, why?" Emma said, "because if you can't it means you need to stretch more." LOL.
Tonight, while I was snuggled in my bed my cell phone rang at 11:36 pm (I should have taken my cousin Jeff's advice by programming it to shut off at 11pm).
The phone number I did not recall, a 646 area code.
So I dashed out of bed to www.yahoo.com the number and find out that it was a NYC number. So I did not pay any attention to it.
Well 2 minutes later, the phone rang again..... from the same number. This time, I decided to answer so this didn't happen all night.
The gentleman on the other end said, "Are you open?" I replied with "open for what?". His response was, "for business!!."
Apparently the gentlman was under the impression that I was a liquor store and he wanted to know the cost of my cheapest wine because he had a "date" with a woman he has been seeing for 6 months.
Classic!!! Can we call you at anytime too? What if I had a cold a needed a pharmacy... where should I go? What's the best way to get to the airport at drive home traffic? What's the fastest animal in the world?
You can be like Cramer... sitting by the phone with the movie list.
beautiful weekend weatherwise and certainly better here than "the big easy". Baseball playoffs have begun and it is only appropriate that my little sister and I go at it again after last week. i do recall her having a lot of fun at my expense when she was up 9-0, but the final results speak for themselves. We will see what happens this week; plus, having to prepare for week one of FFB. So much pressure. Good to know that nc jnn is there with info for all and you need not worry about my chair. Still waiting for Favre options. He goes against Miami this week and we all know about his past success against them. Enjoy the day all.
Happy tuesday one and all... lets see what is going on, not really anything worth commenting on. No word back from the eagle ranch yet, on when they may let us come and visit, do you think we will ever hear?? cookie and good gary back unscathed from the Big Apple. just off to work, be careful out there!
Back to work after a long weekend... Good Gary and I had a great weekend in NYC. Great Yankee game that included a fan running out onto the field and diving head first into 2ns base. 4 security guards were on him in 2 seconds. The poor Giants fans got stuck in a non-alcoholic zone so they spent the game hanging out in the tunnel chugging $10.50 Beck's beers.
Sandra and I had our football draft last night as Zachary was very helpful. Not a big fan of my team... which probably means I'll do well. Romo at QB and that's about it.
Second day of school for the nippers and first day for me driving to North Forest bldg. The only thing making it worth my trip is breakfast is being served today.
The Yankees are making a monumental September run to win the division. JOBA!!!
Me and Auntie are both looking forward to a Celine blog. We have, at least, heard of her, unlike the Bonabumbaroo get together in Tenn. 90+ degrees in class yesterday and today. Thank God only 2=9min. classes yesterday and 4-23 min. ones today. Looked for nphw on the 90 but didn't see him on the way to n. forest. With nc jnn we need cb radios to talk to each other. JT is Beau, I'm Luke and nc jnn can be Daisy.
The kids first (and craziest ever) day of school was yesterday--Zach's bus never came & it went down hill from there BUT all was aok by today--2 kids, 2 schools, 2 busses, 2 school districts, 2 schedules, 2 counties...all with different days off--it's gonna be a long year...where is June?!
Now THAT is an exciting way to start the school year. the pilafs always get to have the real adventures. Me, I am up to 2-23 minute classes for today and if all goes well I will be there from 10 am until 10:50. It is that 4 min. change between classes that will slow me down. Enjoy your friday all, weekend is coming/
Yeah Celine!!! hit us with the pix. Today was 40min. to get there, there for an hour and 35 to get home. Not a problem with all of this cheap 3.87 gas. A bargain compared to last spring.
Incredible... it seems the working gods are getting back at me by teasing me with my unckie's new work schedule. Congrats unckie, take nothing for granted.
Yeah! I'm first to comment, and the first thing that comes to mind is, I have heard of Celine Dion. Looks like it was, um, a very interesting evening with, unless I am confused, a vocalist with a broken jaw and a keyboardist with a cast on his hand? Reminds me of the time Auntie and I went to see Edgar Bergen on tour when he had laryngitis. It's the atmosphere that is all important.

And we know what was really in that "coffee cup"
i know what is usually in my "coffee cups!"
Happy bday jff!
Sister-in-law Cathi bought him Bailey's to go with "the coffee". Cracked the seal already!
In honor of Jeff's birthday, I had a nice shot of "coffee" for him.
Okay, I would post more but Clinton is getting ready to speak and everytime we hear Barak we take a swig.

I'm so pleased that I found a 3 oz flask that meets TSA regulations. I got 4. I can always use the hotel shampoo, I figure!

I told him to go to Frank's.

I'm not sure I'm feeling the love for September quite yet --can't we go back to summer, please?
I hear I missed a heck of a chowder party!
Sandra and I had our football draft last night as Zachary was very helpful. Not a big fan of my team... which probably means I'll do well. Romo at QB and that's about it.
I would like to go back to June!
Heading to the Celine Dion concert with my mom tonight.
I promise a blog!
I can honestly say that your celine deion blog is the one blog in the history of the holtz blog that can take its time getting published.
I agree. Good call, Adm.
