I will have to check with nonna to see if she has any other plans. So I am here in school this morning and my room phone rings. It's the Fixxitts next door neighbor who teaches here wanting to know if everying is OK with S+G. Seems that they looked out their window to see an unplowed driveway with only tire tracks, a first for all of the years that they have lived there. Her quote: "well, you know how Gary is so we were wondering"
Had a GREAT time in Albany with the Quincy Holtzes but the drive back left a lot to be desired. Enjoy the day.
Figured that I would grab the first 3 comments, a first for me.
I think that is a first.
My dad didn't shovel??? That is odd. They're fine, I can confirm that. BUT leaving the house go... something is definitely amiss.
Thanks for the invite Adm and Amy.
MMM, Anastasia did have a 9:15 appt this morning? So quite possibly my sister had to forge through the dusting of snow?
I find it odd that everyone knows how G is???
Thanks for the invite A & A, the Koch's will most definately make the trip!
Glad UC & AP had a great weekend!
How long is the drive to Quincy?
You could of just asked me. Sheesh.
Why is it still cold ooutside?
Okay, we're thinking of coming down too. Thanks Adm and Amy for the invite.
We're also thinking about camping (why not); Wompatuck SP is 30 minutes away.
What are the accomodation plans? I didn't really see a hotel nearby, what hotel would you reccomend?
There's a holiday inn and a Hampton both real close in Braintree. Dad can give you all the info you need to know. If you want to camp- I've heard great things about Wompatuck. Cape cod is only about 45 mins away too.
Yeah, I'm reading the good reviews on Wompatuck, seems to be a REALLY nice state park. I think we just might do that.
Sandra wanted to make sure though that the plans didn't include everyone being at one hotel and then we're not there. So let us know.
Thanks Adam.
Good mornin', its cold and rainy out... must be March.
Count the Koch's in, A & A, but we will not be camping. So I hope there will be hand outs re hotel info.
Lots to tell of the PHS, blog to come!
Does this BD party replace Holtzapalooza troi?
I will bring GG
And dip, is that good?
Who's Dip?
I know Pip, Pippy, The Lip, I take a sip and nip every now and then, I leave a generous tip, Sandra tells me to "zip it", there's a blip on my screen as I type, my Flip! is broken, after Emma was born I got "the clip". Ummmm... I think I'll end it there.
The fantasy baseball draft will start approx on 3/15. Please check your email for details.
Had a lovely surprise birthday party for my sister yesterday, and I believe a good time was had by all!
UGH to the Sabres loss, looks like a cloudy yet no snow day, good news!
enjoy sunday all
A wonderful get together yesterday. Thank you to the Pilafs for the good time. Enjoy the day everyone and remember, it's March Madness time, and with Boston U. in the big dance, we have someone to root for. Ithaca didn't make it this year, nor G. W.
Thank you to the Rice's for hosting a wonderful birthday party yesterday!
I would bet that Niagara County Community College and Empire State COllege (my alma mater) do not make it to the NCAA tournament.
GO SABRES!
I think Jff might have 3 or 4 of his alma maters in the big dance this year? BU has the pleasure of being annihilated by Kansas in the 1st round. Not even the pleasure of playing in one of the play-in games to pad their stats.
Adm, I was trying to find myself... still looking.
It definitey was a really nice time on Saturday. Thanks for coming.
Is tomorrow supposed to be a decent day??? Hmmmm???
I haven't received my fantasy BBall email yet and I'm champing at the bit!
Nothing says spring like fantasy baseball.
Jefferson has his first game on sunday and coach Eric is having a hard time finding more than four players on the team that can correctly identify home plate. Hopefully things will come together as the season moves forward, assuming no one gets hit and killed by a batted ball first.
Warm thoughts.
I remember Zach's formative baseball years. I was showing the kids home plate, "this is where you hit the ball" and first base, "this is where you run to after you hit the ball". First kid comes up, hits the ball off the tee and runs (immediately) to where he hit the ball (pitcher's mound).
I gather the kids around me and remind them of what I just said, hit the ball run to first.
Second kid gets up, hits the ball and runs out to short stop (right where he hit the ball). Hmmmm... it has to be the coach.
The commish is off today, so I am quessing all things fantasy will be forthcoming! Nothing from cookie and how bronx is acclimating to 94 loralee?
Loved the CJ updates! Thanks K for taking the time to keep us in the loop!
Its Tuesday and we all know what that means, I wish it was Friday!
Isn't today the Ides of March? How come nobody makes a big deal about this day? Shouldn't we have it off? Why am I here today?
Today is the eides of March, I concur I think we should have the day off! Probably only state employees have the option to be off today.
