First Family- City of Tonawanda
Well I guess we could say that our campaign is starting to come together. We had our pictures professionally done for our Palm Cards. I think they turned out great! On the back of the palm card we will have the picture of my parents and I along with important phone numbers to call. On the front, will be my picture along with my qualifications.
Let the games begin!

I few things about our official photo. Number 1, Geo had a NY Yankee shirt on and the Yankee logo was obliterated! What is up with that! Other than that, nothing else. Who was shocked that the Sabres decided to stay with Ron Rolston?? Not me, mediocrity rules! See that its raining, I think we needed it!
Happy Thursday! Is everyone keeping up with the NBA playoff's,yes yes me too! I would like to start this day off by wishing my beautiful, talented, warm and loving niece a most happy birthday! I hope it is a day filled with lots of love, hugs and dinner! Oh and cake! I remember that day like it was yesterday! I was babysitting at the trosin's and cousin Barb told me that I had a new niece, I have always wondered how she knew??? Anywho have a great day K! Enjoy this rainy thursday!

Grateful its Friday! So we have finally identified the invasive yellow flower weed in my backyard, its chickweed! Not sure if everyone is aware, but I am entering the COT GW, that is city of tonawanda gardenwalk. So daughter jnna is thrilled thrilled to have a lunch buddy by the name of Rod! it gives her a reason to go to Charlie the Butcher for rice pudding! wishing all the moms out there a happy mothers day! I will have anastasia over and we wil have Chicken, so its pretty much a normal sunday! I have a quick question? Do people feel that the Buffalo News is unduly harsh on the Sabres? Specifically Bucky Gleason and Jerry Sullivan? I find there colums thoroughly entertaining! Just curious. Its friday and pretty much now I want to go home! Make it a special weekend!

Tuesday Tuesday, comes after Monday Monday. My nephew makes me laugh! so my sister Sue certainly was prevalent on FB on Mom's Day! Wonder if she knew? So lets re cap, quick question, whats worse, being a Sabres fan or being a leafs fan?? I see buddy nix stepped down, so its official Ralph is the oldest member of the buffalo bills. so yesterday, we had shutters put up around our windows, and lo and behold I get home and one shutter is not level with the other! So that needs to be addressed today, as I would not want my B-I-L to see that! And what is up with Mo telling Joba to pipe down, sheesh! Someone needs to take him behind the woodshed! Get through the day as best you can
Lots of nervous girls around here today as my seniors take their Advanced Placement government exam. Hope that they do well and the shutters are leveled at 431. what's with my sister and facebook. Since I am probably the only person in the world who is not on facebook, I am left out of the loop. Warmer days are coming and i can hear my grass growing as I walk out the door in the AM. Enjoy it for what it is. This is 2 work days in a row and i am definitely looking forward to my day off tomorrow.
would I rather be at work? Or taking the Advanced Placement Govt exam? I think a copy of that should be forwarded to the candidate, to see how she would do????
It's a good thing I am not a tea party activist or else I might be audited by the IRS. I went to my friends son's tee ball practice or should I say highly intense babe Ruth league practice. After practice was over we headed to the candy stand. I of course, had to reward myself for a great practice. I was stopped almost mid way to the stand when a woman approached me and said, "you look familiar." I thought to myself this never ends well. The woman asked me if I used to live on a farm because she grew up in PA and swore she met me there. I think now might be a good time for my parents to come clean about my childhood before its leaked out in my campaign. I can honestly say, that's a first! I was politely reminded that when you google Jenna Koch our blog shows up so I might have some "trolls" visit our site. Lets hope they comment as this is a nation of free speech :) Happy Wednesday! Looking forward to seeing the Knox estate with cookie and mom.
Happy Wed! Dinner in EA tonight, and then the Knox farm! Should be fun! Another gray day, really? so our Mr Austin turns 18 this week! Back in the day, turning 18 meant eligible for the draft, or drinking. Wonder what turning 18 means today? Mo is 15 for 15 in saves, does everyone remember when my bro had him on the trade wires, yea me too! Have a fun day in WNY people
The best trades are the ones you don't make. Just think if my nphw had offered something more than soda pop schwartz, or whoever it was, I would be 16 saves lighter for the season. Yeah me!! Come to think of it, I do recall that time about 30 or so years ago when my sister and UG were taken by the Green Acres tv series and decided that farm livin' out in Belfast (which is close to Pa) was the way to go. I guess that would explain it. Campaigning at the candy stand. I love the concept.
holy moly family! I get overwhelmed with work and baseball and the next thing you know I miss two blogs and unbelievable banter!
My birthday/mothers day weekend extravaganza was excellent, with many cold drinks and snuggly hugs provided by my kids. Oh, and lots of baseball -- because of an unusually wet spring, we're six games behind heading into the playoffs. Thus we had a double double header on saturday and sunday. I'm ready for a break from team mom-ming, let me tell you!
But the GREAT news is that Jefferson made the all-stars team! and he'll be playing in tournaments until July. Ahh, summertime and baseball. We are very proud of him.
Congratulations Jefferson! An all star in our midst, that is awesome! Had a wonderful evening last night eating gynormous dinners at Arribe,drinking Margueritta's and touring the Junior league Decorator Home, at the Knox Estate. I quess money really does have its advantages! Just waiting for the weekend! Enjoy the day!

Did everyone feel the earthquake this morning? Just curious! Happy 18th birthday to our awesome austin! And its official he is National Guard bound, so he has a plan, a goal, and a family who loves him!He definately has put a plan for success in place! So proud of him! Birthday Party celebration will be at the Bisons game tomorrow evening! So glad its friday, and next week, almost to the holiday!
BUFFALO, NY-- Earthquakes Canada is reporting a 4.8 magnitude earthquake in Braeside, Ontario. The United States Geologicial Survey (USGS) reports another earthquake, this one measuring 5.0 magnitude, in Shawville, Quebec. The earthquakes, which more than 300 miles away, was felt by folks in Buffalo, Cheektowaga, Amherst, Williamsville, Getzville and Rochester. At this time, there are no reports of any injuries, but some folks in WNY say their walls were shaking and items even fell off the walls
I came home from golf this morning and my poor wife was sitting in the chair claiming that: a. she had a stroke or b. her vertigo was back because the chair was moving this AM. Thank God for YNN as we tuned in to find that perhaps she hadn't experienced either a or b, or maybe she had. In any event she felt better to hear what had happened. Austin: Way to go Man! a great big HB! Used to be that 18 was a lot more. Now it's just a legal lottery ticket or maybe a trip to the racino. GG is still waiting to share that adult bev. with you come 21. Now that will be a party worth having. Count me in on that one. Enjoy your day.
Well I'm off today to do my fatherly good deed. Emma has an orchestra concert at Darien Lake today. I gotta tell ya... I'm not really a fan. But, I'll head out there today, watch her play her concert and then spend gobs of money on things I really don't want to spend money on. Oh we'll, at least I'll get funnel cake. Hopefully it's a nice day. It looks dark out there now.
Hey, it's saturday. Hope that everyone has lots of exciting plans for the weekend. Gotta get over to OTB and get a wager down on the Preakness; my powerball is purchased and just waiting to collect. Suffice to say that we will all be winners when, and I say when, not if, my ship comes in, and to top it all off, my wife does not seem to have any pts after her harrowing day yesterday with the quake. All is good. enjoy
Happy Sunday am! I know I never post on Sunday as that is a day I am usually tied up with cooking and gramma stuff however very early this am she called to tell me she could not come over, seems her leg is hurting and she just wants to rest! So bisons game last night night and it was wise potatoes chip nite! I know I know me too! If you got a foul ball you got a bag of chips! So right after my daughter and son in law leave does not a foul ball land in good Gary's seat! So another missed opportunity. Enjoy the day with family and friends!
