Something new to look at.
Here's Zach and my October campin trip this past year. We had shorts and t-shirt weather which was the complete opposite of the year before where we had 25 degree weather at night with snow.
We had a nice site and the weather could not have been better. I love fall camping.

A new blog after only 3 months? And I am #1!! Thank you nphw jff. Guess who called on the phone just in time to jinx Ryan Miller and his shutout? Yes, you are correct, my son. Oh well, at least the US won. Anyone notice that it's snowing out? Happy Sunday.
Happy Monday! Or Presidents day as it is known in the Monday Holiday realm! Great hockey games this weekend, but really at 7AM! If you are off enjoy the day, if you are working, enjoy the day!
Pretty snow yesterday, pretty snow.
I watched curling again this morning. I'm really not sure why I have this Olympic death wish. GBR beat Russia if anyone was wondering. Yeh, didn't think so. Go USA!
In Gettysburg on the way south, and guess what, there is a snow advisory. Who would of guessed that could happen. How far south will I have to go to find an open golf course? 300 miles south and down to about a foot on the ground. I know Atlanta is clear but I would prefer not to go quite that far. Going to check out the new cyclorama at the battle field tomorrow AM. Seems that someone told me that it was worth a stop.
As someone who did donuts pretty much the whole way into work this morning, I am kind of shocked that my brother is risking life and limb to golf? Looking at the map on the eastern seaboard, just keep driving!
good luck, and I hope you find your balls in the snow!
T - minus 4 days till the big birthday party. Who is bringing the corn??
Stay warm, with a full tank of gas you just never know!
Unckie! Gettysburg?! Adm, where does he find the time? Where Auntie? I'm a bit concerned.
Keep driving Unckie , keep driving.
Yes, the Cyclorama was very cool. I hoped you liked it.
Had not seen the new visitor's center and the cyclorama lived up to everything that the pilafs had to say. We were lucky in that there was only maybe an inch of snow here and by the afternoon it was 55 and melting. Still have not seen green grass. The people here are not amused by the fact that they have had snow on the ground for a month straight, highly unusual here. Maybe today in Fredericksburg, va? Stay safe y'all (that's how they talk down here).
Happy Wed! Seems kind of nice out!
At least the sun is out!
Hope my brother finds a golf course!
Enjoy the day go USA
65 and sunny and grass. Maybe there is hope. Still going a bit farther south tomorrow with addresses for 3 different golf courses. of course auntie is excited. But then I made the mistake of looking at the extended forecast for next week. Do you suppose that they would notice at the Mount if I wasn't there next week?
Probably not... Just keep driving.
65 and sunny here too. Why did you leave? Zachary and I got 18 in at Deerwood today. I can't believe how much roll we were getting. It's the best I shot in February... Ever!
Spoiler alert!
USA beat Jamir Jagr, 5-2.
Poor girls team. What a bummer.
National holiday today. Everyone gets to work a half day. Who else is watching the game today?
Back in Wny after 1200 miles just to find out that Deerwood was open and I could have saved all of that? Plus, I haven't seen anyone in four days who has any idea about hockey and even less about curling. See you all tomorrow.
Glad you guys are home safe. It doesn't surprise me of the lack of interest in curling down south. They just don't get it.
We had a fun afternoon yesterday and it was great to see everyone.
Today, we're off to the Dino BBQ in Buffalo for lunch. Hopefully it's as good as the one in Ra- cha-cha. We like it there.
Dino Bar!!! Awesome food, fun time! AND Emma got peanut butter pie.
Back to the grind! Would just like to thank everyone for giving anastasia a party to remember! She had a fabulous time, and even started calling around on sunday for a do over! Jill and Gary did stop on Sunday, so she did still have company! could not scrub the smile off her face! a big thankyou to my sister for all her hard work, and menu planning and cleaning! Guess we are suppose to plummet into the big deep freeze, so dont put your winter coats away just yet! Get through the day as best you can!
Great time on Sat. Mom seemed to particularly enjoy her day from her chair with lots of time for conversation which she so enjoys. Called her yesterday to let her know that son Adm's research has led to discovering her great grandparents. Will see her today so the celebration will continue a bit longer. Great snow flurry going on out there now. Hope everyone is to their destination.
