As the family grows and continues to change, we use our family blog to keep in touch, remind each other of who we are, where we came from, and where were going.

LUCKY TONIGHT?
Happy 30th Anniversary to Auntie B and Unkie G! Ahhh! The romance of it all. New family contest-What do you think Unkie G was reading to Auntie B that got them so excited?
A blast from the past! It was a beautiful wedding!

Ah yes, I remember the day all so well. I was spiffily attired in my salmon leisure suit that my wife had sewn for me. My better half was a bit on the "large" side, preparing to foal Adam in short order. The wedding was beautiful and the reception was grand. Congrats again, but you had to remind me that there was no cable or ESPN. Disclaimer: in case you all thought that this was my handiwork, it is NOT.
I did. But, I looked good in it (so I thought). Nothin' looks better than a skinny lil' white kid in a brown tux as a ring bearer. As a ten year old I didn't have any chicks to fight off, but my picture was used for many embarassing moments afterwards.
you just had to throw that comment about the sox in there, didn't you? Since its your anniversary, I'll let it slide. This time, mcfly. Think of it as my anniversary present to you.
You deserved to have a good day, even if it required the sox to lose. It was close as to who looked the best that day, G or J in the brown tux, or sue in the yellow hat. The mid 70's was such a fashionable era. word has it that the celebrants were going out to dinner. did it happen??
Good morning all, half the cast comes at 9:20 this morning( I should show up early). Then Wednesday we leave for DisneyWorld!!! The kids are soooo pumped for this trip. Okay, maybe I'm a lil' giddy too. I have all my single socks packed. I should give them names.
Where's Amy???
Huge game tonight in baseball. Yanks - Sox, there is very few things better. I think I'll have a cold one tonight.
my major memory of the wedding event was the GIANT bandage on my hand. Seems that my mom's admonitions to NEVER USE the good scissors were just too tempting to pass up.
I still wear the locket you gave me as a flower girl gift!
Taking time out of my busy teaching day to throw on a quick comment. My entire schedule was thrown off this morning and this being the first day I have worked in 10 months is exhausting. This was a good gig because the guy i am in for teaches all seniors, most of whom I had last year, and this gives me a chance to reconnect with them. It also gets me out of the house.
Well, I made it through the day, at a pretty enjoyable level, but I got grabbed to sub 2 other days this month, plus, I picked up 2 painting jobs. I guess that Holtz Bros. painting is back in business. I am taking tomorrow off. Is the group leaving for Disney on Wed.? What about Unkie Gare's job search?
Jff now has a cane to replace the crutches, but since he can't seem to walk on the walking cast without his leg buckeling it looks like crutches it is for Disney...Jff thinks he is a 20 yr. old healer...silly Jffry!
Auntie b only confirmed what many of us have suspected, Uncle Gare's cell phone is still in mint condition. Departure day tomorrow will limit the blog activity here for awhile, but we can all look forward to a new blog on your return. We are all envious, that is for sure. Practice that pathetic, crippled look to get to the head of the line, and be careful of that Florida beer. All of that heat has been known to make it go "skunky". A private jet, helicopter and police escort for a catcher hitting .162; can you imagine what they would do to get someone good to the game on time? who got booed more, Damon or Thome last nite? That, and our Buffalo Braves, got some tv time. There is another 30 year old blast from the past. I am getting all nostalgic for Jimmy Carter. Have a good day all.
I don't usually get into the sox/yankee melee in this family, but I would share the comment that I found it amusing when Jeter tried to negotiate himself away from being called out at 2nd after the base running error. I bet he was saying ... "this wouldn't happen to me in the Bronx ... "
We can carry this blog without the Rices! Just because Jff was posting 3x a day since his injury doesn't mean we can't step up and fill that void! LEt's go Family!
Just checked the 10 day forecast in Fla...92 tomorrow with 0%precipitation...but then again, the Rices are coming, so keep an eye out for that hurricane!
Here's hoping that casted leg will be worth something when we are there!
Kids are so excited...couldn't sleep last night...can only imagine tonights affairs...
Unless we find a way to the internet...have a great week!
They will be able to film one of those Disney commercials at the Pilaf house tonite. Sandra has all of my sympathies with 3 little kids to care for, one hobbling around. Have a great trip and be thinking of BLOG!!!!
I forgot to mention another qualifier for my father finding a job. Despite the 27 other items on his "what my conditions are" list, he says he can't work for another union. How could I miss this point in my original post? He's says he'd never pay union dues as a part timer.
It seems my body is no longer 20 years old, this is a huge surprise to me, I was completely taken off guard. It also seems that after 6 weeks in a cast I have no absolutely no strength in my knee.
I betcha anonymous had better seating arrangemnets at the wedding reception than I did? Also, brown and yellow was the hip color scheme for April of 1976. Unfortunately it has never come back.

Unckie C, how's the '06 golf game going?

And I think THAT was the last time I wore yellow.

Well I hope you at least reconfirmed last year's decision. Did you make the right call???
I wish my memory could go back thirty years to that day, unfortunately the 80's hit me hard. I do remember a pink and light blue pony though.
After two hours I'm able to staighten my knee. Progress, progress.

Whatever. I just heard we got mirabelli back. that solves all our problems!

Don't those "props" get you to the front of the line at Disney World though??

I think I was at that wedding, the tux looks familiar? or maybe that color theme was replayed at other weddings.
