And I get to be first. Great Blob! The moment is forever captured with no doubts about the confusion that prevailed. Who took the video?

I can not thank you all enough for helping me make this birthday special! I was completely taken off guard. Much love to each and everyone of you! A special thank you to Jill and Mom for helping put this together. I had only been bugging her for a surprise party for a year. :)

The last working day of my 29th. Should I call in sick?

Thanks for posting the video so quick! On to the next birthday party...

So much fun! Thanks so much for posting! Video, our new frontier!
It was a fun fun party! and daughter was surprised, I think surprise parties are as much fun for the person planning as it is for the guest of honor!
Next party, is mr fixxitt, lets have a surprise party for him!
He would love that, a house full of people that he does not know about!
Great drive into work today, as our snowless winter cont!
Good football games yesterday, can the Tebow touch cont against the hated patriots???
Conversation that took place yesterday while taking down my Christmas tree:
Mom: I can see the tinsel on your tree, do you want me to take it off and put it in the tinsel box?
Me: No
Have a great day!

jt said...

Awwwww... a tinsel box. Did you tell her only tinsel fairies are allowed to take down the tinsel?

jt said...

Ohhh... and our first blob of 2012! We have to beat 17, that's our goal. We can't have a decrease in blobs again this year.

oh my gosh thanks for a great start to my day. I loved the birthday reaction -- so sorry I couldn't be there. And what I loved most of all is how the holtz voices really carry on video. All i could hear was Jeff, Dad, and Antie B. hilarious.

K - Your Mom was talking, we just drowned her out!

kdh said...

I'm sure, if we asked Mom, she'd say that's what her last 45 years have been all about! ;)

jt said...

LOL... that's classic.

KDH,
Right before the birthday girl arrived your dad was telling us all how he attempted to wash the car on Saturday but he couldn't find his drying towels. Your mom chimes right in... "you don't own drying towels!" and made him take the car to the car wash for a proper cleaning. Classic.

The story of my life. I have always been expected to do these jobs, but I have never had the right tools. That's the only thing separating me from Mr. Fixxitt. Love the idea of a surprise party at his house. What's not to like about being the honoree?

Betsy said...

Just an additonal comment, I think the element of the door bell ringing added just the right amount of anticipation, and my nc Sndra, was all over capturing the moment! A true professional!

THAT WAS A FUN PARTY!! I'M TYPING LOUDLY HOPING TO BE HEARD.

jt said...

LOL I love it Auntie P.

Tuesday night Sabres game, do I even invest my time and emotion tonight? Of course I do, Sandra leaves me tonight for the big lights and big city of Watertown, WI. I can't tell ya how jealous I am. Why does she get to go to all these exotic places?

Jill said...

Happy Birthday Jenna!

unkie said...

Happy B-Day nc jnn! How does it feel to be a thirty-something?

Betsy said...

I quess I am kind of glad that we can not see the Sabre game?
So I mentioned to my mother that for her meet n greet 95th! unbelievable! I was going to tell people, no gifts! That their presence(present) was gift enough. I read that somewhere, and thought it was clever! Well the look on her face! Priceless, so I said to her well what is it that you want? And of course she sheepishly looks at me and says, Tops Cards! Seriously, who does she feed?
What a beautiful day!

Sandra's home today... Yahoo! But that only leads to a hectic evening a traveling. She gets picked up at 5, Emma gets dropped off at 6 (picked up at 8) and Zach gets dropped off at 8 (picked up at 9:30). Needless to say, upon the completion of these drop-offs/pickups I'll be enjoying a cold beer with my feet up.

Heading to Atlanta tonite to celebrate a belated xmas. May see nphw jff since we willbe getting there about 5. Not a nice day today, but hopefully the bad weather willhold off until after we leave town.

jt said...

I'll be sure to wave if we bump into each other tonight at "The" Greater Buffalo Airport. Sandra's getting nasty weather know in Watertown and hopefully we don't get the yucky stuff until we go to bed tonight.
Have fun down in ATL... wish the fam Merry Christmas/ Happy New Year from us.

Yucky, yucky weather. Yuck! Bleck...

We're heading out to Rochester after work today to enjoy an evening with the Amerks and maybe the Dinosaur Bar for din-din. The kids will get to go swimming and then maybe off to the Strong Museum in the morning. That's our weekend.

Betsy said...

Nphw - weekend sounds fabulous! Love the Genny Crm Ale at the Dinosaur!
FYI for those venturing out today, there is zero visibility across the Gates Circle Parking lot to Delaware Ave! There will be no quick jaunts over to Gates Circle Liquor today!
Was so loving our snowless winter!
Hope AP and UC got to Hotlanta, safely!

After that it is pretty much up in the air!
Any one excited about the NFL playoffs? I just want newengland to lose, thats all.

Betsy said...

Back to work!
So no Anastasia this weekend, she was feeling a little under the weather and did not want to poke her nose out in 5 degree weather!
So I delivered her dinner to her, and got her groceries, but sad to say Tops was out of her rye bread, so it will be one more trip to get her what she needs!
Hope AP and UC get home safe!
Was kind of bummed the Giants one oh and the Sabres lost...
Lets hope this week goes by fast!!!!

Enjoy the day people and all that it brings!

We canceled our weekend trip Rochester on Friday due to the weather... instead we had a movie night and enjoyed ourselves.
Saturday Emma and I went to the Bandits game, her first time. She absolutely LOVED it.
I had off yesterday and just lounged around.

jt said...

Good mornin'... what a wind storm last night (gusts hit 70 mph). Did anyone have a tree limb fall in there yard? Nothing at the Pickford residence that I noticed. Though it was dark out there when I was looking.

Jnna said...

Enroth in goal tonight and I get to watch the game! GO SABRES! How was the hotlanta Christmas?

jt said...

Do we even discuss the Sabres now? Wow! Incredible. Can it get any worse?

Betsy said...

Who ever thought the sabres ship would sink this far!!! Not me!
So what else is going on?
anyone have any big plans this weekend?
are we a go on the sunday meet and greet for Anastasia's 95th?
cuz I might re paint the living room??? thoughts?

jt said...

Ummmm... what's the date and time of that meet-n-greet again?

Here's comes the blizzard!

kdh said...

hi family!
we had an awesome Miss-mas with mom and dad last weekend -- very good times. Mellow -- it was cold (not Buffalo cold) and surprisingly challenging to organize four adults and four kids to go anywhere out of the house. So we stayed at home and chilled for the most part. It was great.

Eric and I are bringing the girls home to WNY February 2 - 4! Plans evolving on how to see everyone -- can't wait. And wish us luck. The airtran woman was rather stunned by Eric's purchase of three plane tickets to fly himself and four lovely ladies.

In DC today for meetings. Its COLD out there, but as vibrant as ever. DC makes me homesick.

Hope you guys are all well!

jt said...

Very cool, we can't wait for your arrival.

Sabres %!**@ !!!

Betsy said...

OMG, so excited to see the Holtz-Twombly clan!
Of course if need be, 431 can be used as one stop shopping for all to get together! Whatever is needed!
the sabres, ugh ugh ugh, the churning rumor mill has ryan miller wanting out, to be traded to LA or vicinity to be closer to his actress wife! thoughts
Enjoy the weekend
What a white knuckle ride home, got a call from my mother could I possibly stop and bring her bananas?? I told her the wintry conditions prohibited me from going to Tops!

Betsy said...

JT - The meet n greet is still in the planning stages, I had suggested a Kegger on Saturday Feb 18th, or a luncheon/desert/coffee/appetizer/brunch/early dinner on the 19th, basically an open house!
I am thinking the sunday, come after church, eat, have a drink or 3, cake and ice cream, celebrate, go home. Can we vote on this plan, so I can decide if I am going to paint the living room or not???

unk said...

B: No painting allowed. Everything will be great. My vote, whatever is easiest for you. Sat. or Sun. Time? Whenever. Looking to organize something for the Holtz-Twombley group. If nothing else, they are numerous.
