There was a little bit of everything on this last trip to the sunny south. There was fun time with the grandkids, as always, but no Bangladeshi food this trip. K and E spent most of the time working but we did have time for an occasional cocktail or two. Plus, Auntie got a chance to do something that is on HER bucket list.
Her squeals of delight were heard all throughout Georgia and Eric is recovering nicely from the cracked ribs resulting from her vice-like hold on him. Finally---a motor cycle momma!
It was a more conventional means of transportation, a car, that took us off to Chattanooga. It just happened that the Lookouts were in town for a grudge matchup with their hated rivals, the Middle Tennessee Generals.
Next stop was Nashville. The shuttle driver from the hotel to the downtown music area happened to be a football fan and when he learned that we were from Buffalo he of course had to recall a certain Tenn. football victory from 10 yrs. ago. No tip for him. There was a stop at Andrew Jackson's home/burial site, the Hermitage, outside of Nashville. The Nashville Sounds were on the road, much to Auntie's disappointment.
A few hundred miles down the road was Memphis. There was the mandatory stop at Graceland and another gravesite.

A visit to Graceland?? I am kind of surprised by that? Was not aware that my brother was an elvis fan! What great pictures! Loved AP on the bike! I know for a fact that my S-I_L would never have helmut hair! Thanks for sharing your vacation, I almost kind of felt like I was there!
