Since I have some "prior information" I can say that I now have to change my name to Grandpa Holtz and get my supply of stupid hats ready.

I know! I know! I'm just way too young;). Just call me Nonna!!

Whose vicb?????? and what does soccer have to do with this?

Anonymous said...

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now can we name the baby???????

I am so happy for you!

Anonymous said...

For some reason I came up as anonymous! We will have none of that!

When is baby holtz due? Gram was so excited she said she was the first to know.

Anonymous said...

Auntie Kristen and CEO -- I love the sound of that!

YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!

ps -- gram wasn't the first to know. I bet amy was. then adam. then lucy.

but no need to tell gram that!

I think vic was just trying to get into the whole creative brainstorming thing. can't really blame him, but peanut holtz is due to join the fam sometime around may 25. Now gotta start painting a nursery!

Is Uncle Mim coming to Thanksgiving?

Just an FYI- As of June 31,2006 the most commonly used baby names are:
Jacob
Emily

What color is the baby room going to be??

Congratulations. That is awesome news. It looks just like you Adm.
Unckie, I have PLENTY of stupid hats if you run out.

ZAchary came in 2nd place at his soap box derby competition and moves on to Saturday's big championship. Of course Mr. Fixit was involved.

I have more exciting news. We are blog of choice for the week of 11/13 thru 11/18. But, Amy didn't have to get pregnant and KDH didn't have to start a business for it to happen!

Either way, good job fam!

Yea for all of us.Recognition as B-of-C. Does that mean that we will get to have some member of the family to represent us on next season's DWTS?? If we do, I vote for Mr. Fixit. He always had the "right moves" during the sock hops at THS, and he won my sister's heart and she always cut a pretty fine rug herself.

Congrats Adam & Amy...saw that coming at Holtzapoolza...too much baby talk to ignore that one!

We have a beautiful hand-made cradle (Mr. Fix-its hand) that is welcome to reside with you or the lucky grandparents...should be free to use early this spring (our neighbors have it now)

Boy or girl...we need to know or we'll be coming up with a lot of generic names like Jordan & Taylor...

Betts...count us in on Thanksgiving for a visit but not full meals of food (or in Jff's case not a second helping)...we eat dinner at my folks but we can always go for dessert!!

Thanks Anonymous, we astound ourselves sometimes.

Mr. Fixit already turned down DWTS in season one. BUT, I think now that Emmitt has bought his way to a title. My father may be interested.

More Suggestions for Names:
Hotlanta' Bakery

Estelle Getty's Emporium and lamp shades

Chi Chi Rodriguez

Pulp Education Inc.

I was talking to a Red Sux fan at work today and she agreed that 51 milllion to talk to someone is ridiculous. I bet if you polled the Red Sux Nation, 84.7% would agree with that assessment. Maybe 9% would say, "if that's what the Red Sux have to do to compete, then so be it". That leaves the remaining 6.3% drunk on clam juice not understanding the question.

Charles Adam Holtz said...

See, i used to care about this. a month ago I would have gotten all riled up, and posted a comment. But now that I'm about to be a father, my priorities have shifted. but I'll leave you with this comment... The Yankees outspent the sox by more than $90 million dollars last year, and got to play 3 extra games because of it. I'll take the sox any day

Gram is fully convinced she was there when baby Holtz was conceived. Any truth to that?

Anonymous said...

I hate to be the math guy here but August to May is nine months so I have to feel that this is a Holtzapalooza love child. Or maybe it was some makeup after what Amy was put thru with the palooza. Just in case anyone is interested, Auntie P. is not "with child" in May, even tho she became extemely amorous because of all of the August celebrating.

Charles Adam Holtz said...

ewww. wrong on SO MANY levels. First, I can assure gram that she was nowhere near conception. sorry 'bout that. ANd double ew for you, dad.

Anonymous said...

I'll talk to anyone who will listen for much, much less than 51 Mil.

Charles Adam Holtz said...

don't know if its a boy or girl yet, and the wife is adamantly refusing to find out... bummer.

I think that Sox fans would prefer the analogy to Achiro?? How the hell do you spell his name? and his MVPness his first year here. Although I do think that I read where this new pitcher got pounded pretty good by the barnstorming stars. I think that Theo is running scared. Son of mine has two months of baseball season and then it all ends as diapers and pablum will take over all waking hours (and based on the behavior of he and his sister as infants) the child to be will likely rarely sleep, and then only fitfully. Good luck.

JT Rice said...

God Bless you. But, it's Ichiro ... you were close.
It means Stan in English.

Sandra's getting all exciited about baby to be. She needs to know the sex AND right now. I can't hold her off she's too strong.

Back to the game... I've thought long and hard about this ever since I've arrived home and here are my new entries.

Jeter
BallyWho Cigars and Novelty Tricks
PartialSatisfaction.com
It's So Friggin' Hot

I forgot about Bob's Pump & Pull... that one was a classic. Kristen, you have to somehow use Pump & Pull in your companies name.
Great names Auntie B.

Jeter's dating Jessica Biel.

Bo's gone.
I need a moment to myself.

I know... I like Tiffany Theissen better. But she's spoken for.

Mrs. Fix it enjoyed all the babble. She just read it. Very funny to listen to her laugh.

You guys are so prolific in your postings that I feel the need to say something even tho I am not a big OSU or Michigan fan, and thank God not painting anything around here, even tho Auntie would probably insist that there is a lot that could be painted. I think that all of your ideas are great, with the possible exception of Jeter as a company or grandchild, and that my daughter had better come up with a decision and prize fast. I think that Dec. 1 is the deadline, but I could be wrong. Have a good Sat. all, and onbehalf of my nphw, gooooooo maize and blue.

JT Rice said...

Thank you Unckie... Maize and Blue need all the support they can get. It's going to be an awesome game. I'm crackin' open my first one now and toasting all the sports reporters that have given me non-stop coverage for the last two weeks.

GO BLUE!!!

Anonymous said...

Tough loss for the maize and blue, but an instant classic. Saw Mr. and Mrs. Fixit last nite, but she was inconsolable over the Sabres performance. Perhaps a Bills win is what we need today to lift the family spirits. Maybe vicb is onto something: abandon our other interests to focus on MLS and their new silver ball. any bets as to how long mom is off her cashwords?

JT Rice said...

Sandra insisted I leave the coziiness of my bed and join the world this afternoon. I'm still a lil' bummmed Ohio State won. What a game. I think I could actually watch it again.

Some more ideas for Kristen's new venture:

Ohio State Sucks
I'll Tell You What a Buckeye Is
Not Afraid to Go Up The Middle
Go Blue!!!
Rematch, Rematch, Rematch

Okay, maybe I'm not over it yet.

There will be no livin with him!

Charles Adam Holtz said...

hey jff, think of it this way, mich is still #2 behind ohio state. can't believe that one. So, I think I'm gonna name our kid j.p. I always knew that boy was the savior of the bills franchise.

JT Rice said...

JP's the man. There's probably only 43 people in Buffalo who think he should be given every opprtunity to finish the year as our quarterback. What a pass! Oh, not a bad catch either.

More names:

JP
JP Losman
Did I say Jeter already???

Sandra said...

I'm sure SHE'LL love the name JP.

Sandra said...

Tv Radica Basesball is going on in my house...NY just beat Boston...Jff & Zach wanted me to let you know...I'm sure you're thrilled!

Anonymous said...

And I was probably the only person in WNY who was convinced that they would find a way to overturn the touchdown catch. Go JP; Beware JAX! To reiterate what has become our local slogan: The Bills are still mathmatically alive!!!!

I'm confused... and working on a blog.
