Penguins Are Our Friends

It was time for a new post... and pictures. Soooo... I took it upon myself to post some holiday pictures and maybe a few observances, (with a recipe or two).

By JT Pilaf

As I dragged myself out of bed. Both kids (and dog) were already dressed and ready for Christmas morning.Unckie took it upon himself to continue the "Holtz hat" tradition. Unfortunately, someone earlier used the hat to drain the oysters for the dressing. href="http://photos1.blogger.com/x/blogger/3824/1753/1600/752120/xmaschuckgram.jpg">
Mrs. Fixit came through on Christmas Day with all our favorite pies. I had a piece of every one.

This pictuure was taken pre-lint brush incident.

Every moment was captured and sent via technology to Quincy, MA. KDH even sent a picture of the "questioned" lint brush gift.

Does anyone know who this "mad man" is? He scares me.

God Bless the cook... or cookie.

Great xmas pics. Lots of great memories from the day. How come no pictures of small mammals?

Sandra says "it's time I start to let go". It's not going to be the same around here without our woodland friends.

I have a hunch that Mustafa is on special assignment outside the country but will soon surface, Maybe like in "24".

Neither of that famed duo had a mustache. They were just funny. That hardly describes that crazed man.
I'm ready for the weekend. I just got back from Flying Bison for a weekends worth of oatmeal stout. I'll compliment that beverage with a pizza and some wings and watch the Sabres lambaste the recently igloo-less Penguins tonight. Does anyone remember the Kansas City Scouts? They just may be back.

No posters today??? Where's Fargo? Is she Fargone?
Corn? Adm, has corn? Why all these questions?
Well, we're off to 'Happily N'Ever After'.
Bathroom... we're rockin'! You should check it out.

I have been feeling under the weather lately. So I have been resting up. Plus, I need to prep for my birthday celebrations.

Since I participated in naming KDH's successful company, I was wondering if stock options were avail to me?

I have lunch with gram in the afternoon.

Did your mom wake you up just to explain yourself. That's soooo bad. There's very few things better than an all day nap.

Amazing how these days can just slip away. Nothing much in EA, just Auntie engaging in the ongoing nursing me back to good health. Lousy cold!! Can't seem to shake this thing. Even missed?? the international bowl yesterday. Have a good Sunday all. Maybe all of the warm weather has caused the Fargonians to be outdoors and away from the computer?

Electrical is all done and the drywall is up... it's starting to look like something. My brother-in-law was a madman today.

I am heading to EA in the early morning for my first full week. Maybe I can take a vacation day and spend it at my aunt and uncles house. What is for dinner tomorrow night?

Be home around 5?

Lunch with gram was eventful. She told me to run 3 red lights, and yelled STOP, DUCK! while going over a overpass! I slammed on the breaks and said what was that about? She told me a guy was on the thruway throwing rocks at cars.

She has her Eye Doctor appt on Wed.

you know, I think that's a great idea antie b. KDHRC will only work half days in January. Man law!

Sorry about your sore ear, jnna. Earaches stink. I still remember the taste of that pink liquid gunk my parents made me drink everytime I got one ...

JT Rice said...

Jnna, funny stuff. That made me giggle. Keep us informed on any Gram sightings. Maybe a goblin on the wing of a plane. "Twilight Zone" anyone? William Shatner.

I'm going to the NU B-ball game tomorrow with the kids. Should be fun. I'll tell everyone there that Thrllie said hi.

With an earache she still took Gramma to lunch? What a girl! Since Auntie and I will be leaving tomorrow AM on a southern adventure, we are leaving EA in the care of nc jnn for the immediate future. Perhaps another Jimmy will surface during our absence, ala last Jan. We will be taking photos and hopefully a photo essay will be in the offing upon our return. We will be on the lookout for Mustafa. Lots of together time for Auntie and I over the next month or so should lead to an even closer relationship than we already enjoy. Will try to find a computer for familial updates. You are all entitled to as many Jan. half days as you should choose to take. Go for it!!

Enjoy your trip and beware of squirrels trying to gain your trust. Do not, I repeat, do not follow them late at night to a seedy neighborhhood trying to get yourself a cheap stereo for the car. They feast on Northeners like AP & you.
I'm just saying.

Jnna...can't Mrs. Fix-it get you a few sample drugs to ease the ear pain? Afterall...what is the point of working in a doctors office if ya can't?

Zach has his NYState ELA exams this week...ya gotta love the NY school system...more tests MUST mean better schools right? He is sick about them already and hasn't even started them yet!

The drugs are starting to kick in. Tell Zach to do what I used to do in school, sit next to the smart one and tell them you have hemroids, that's why your leaning to the left.

Greetings from scenic bridgeport, wv. We fought our way here for a lousy drink and pizza. It was exciting when we did a 540 on the thruway right before the Fredonia exit. Auntie is still screaming but somehow we wound up off the road on the right shoulder, facing the direction we had just come from, about 5 feet before going down an embankment. Got back on the road and drove thru snow until Pitts. at about 30mph.Don't worry about us as the shakes finally stopped. Can't wait to see what tomorrow holds. Take care all and again, a big HB Jenna!! P.S. How was the drive to EA this morning? Love the southtowns during lake effect.

aw jesus. I knew you should have flown. Man..........

JT Rice said...

Unckie, did AP get any photos of the 540 turn around? I would have loved to see your face. Now that's a Steve McQueen move.

Happy Birthday Jnna!

LINT BRUSH!!!

Thank you for the birthday wishes. I am glad to hear that you are safe and sound in WV. Drive careful the rest of the way there. The drive to EA wasn't to bad. I made it there in plenty of time. I will drive by the place sometime and make sure it's in order.

I sure could have used a lint brush this morning.
