Grandma's Birthday Party Post 2

The great-grand kids were very well behaved through out the day. Emma did a great job handing out "heart" stickers to each guest. Zach was in charge of making sure the movies were still playing. Austin did a great job handing out the party favors.

The party at Aunt Patti's and Uncle Chuck's was a wonderful time. As you can see by the picture above, Jeff has his "heart on". Jill's rosey cheeks just shows how many glasses of the EXCELLENT punch we had. I however was not in the picture because I was already, "in the bag".

The Holtz women are sporting the "Anastasia pin" and posing for the camera. Aunt Sue has her poker face on. (Please note, Betsy's red cheeks).

Grandma's sons... They all have their "hearts on". Notice George's shirt! Good Luck NU! See you at the dance. This picture was taken hours before Uncle Gary won his $2.50 at casino night.

The birthday gal and her great grand daughter. Grandma never took that lei off until she was home. Of course she had to show all of her friends!

From LM to EA the passangers in the limo consumed 4 bottles of wine and 12 drink boxes. Ziggy our limo driver, played country music so we could sing and dance.

Who woke up Jenna???????????????????????????????

These two gals are audtioning for the witness protection program. Aunt Sue passed out Leis'. PH passed out cataract glasses.

SHH! What did they put in those drink boxes!

Grandma is still smiling from ear to ear after her birthday bash.

Grandma with her best friend Ruth at dinner. Ruth wanted the chicken parm but accidently ordered the veal parm. Don't worry the correction was made prior to her digging in!

Photograph taken at the restaurant. A few hours prior to UG and his big winnings.

Hours prior to the above guests lossing at casino night.

We will have to do this at HOLTZAPALOOZA. Speaking of HOLTZAPALOOZA 2. Is the date set?

Great pics and good memories of a fun time. Hard to believe more than two weeks ago. Only an hour or so until we find out where the Eagles are going to be playing. I thought that Bourbon-swillin daughter would have surfaced in support of the GW Colonials. I am sure that she plans on following her alma mater, no matter where they might be playing. She is probably too involved seeing if "junior" can navigate successfully around the L.V. oval

Great post Jnna, (I'm guessing of course... could be anyone). That was a fun day. I'm still trying to re-coup some of my nickels back.

I will give my cousin my left arm and right ear for tickets to the final four in ATLANTA. I just wanted to mention that.

Also, Niagara play in game on Wednesday! What is up with that??

Niagara on a play-in game?? Give mea break with some of the trash that is in there? Poor Drexel, and I even feel sorry for cryin' Jimmy Boeheim, for the first time ever. Illinois in? Arkansas? Me, I'm so angry that I plan on boycotting college basketball until tomorrow evening.

It's going to be a rockin' time in downtown Buffalo on Thursday night. Welcome all travelers. I too, am also boycotting the NCAA tournament until tomorrow. I figure a one day (Monday) boycott will teach those bracket makers a lesson (keeping Syracuse and Drexel out). Other than that I'm taking Thursday and Friday off to devote my time to the young athletes who made the "Big Dance".

Welcome to town anonymous and here's hoping that your Panthers perform better than in the Big East Tourney. I am sure that we will have some real wny weather for you this weekend. I too plan on minimizing my work for this thurs. thru sat. to concentrate on b-ball. Go Colonials, and my sleeper, Nevada. Who else out there wants to put their sleeper pick up for scrutiny?

Is there a Holtz family pool for the madness? i almost won big last year, thanks to Northwestern University (of Louisiana) and George Mason. So close!

Oooh, a Gary Williams fan in our midst for the weekend. Welcome. Hey Maryland guy, if you are at HSBC and head down Main st. toward the Anchor Bar, check out Founding Fathers on Allen st.(Allen runs off Main St) Not too far away and a fun place for beers between the Thursday afternoon and evening sessions.

What a way to start the "Big Dance" with a Purple Eagle V-I-C-T-O-R-Y. I am so proud my 1 semester there enhanced my spelling.

Just returned home from my ENT appointment which was scheduled for 8pm. I could do a blog about my prolonged ear infection.

Up next, CT Scan to hopefully rule out any "growths" in the brain. YIKES!

Great win last nite for Niagara, not so great for the Sabres. What about the Wright st. fans out there on their way to warm and sunny WNY?? Come on folks

Any of our visiting teams have a squirrel as a mascot?

Oooooh a special blog. Maybe???

Welcome bball fans across the country. Buffalo welcomes you with warm hearts, cold beers, and hot wings.

Sleeper pick??? It has to be Villanova. They're tough... I have them going to the Elite 8. I don't even like them. NU against Kansas??? Possible, they'll have to shoot the lights out. GO NU!!!

I had the opportunity for a ticket ($75) to Thursday's games only and turned it down. I hope the TV coverage is stellar.

I bought a radio for my office and my door will be shut as I will be listening to all those games tomorrow!

My final four teams: Wisconsin, Pittsburgh, NC, Texas A&M.
