I only have one pick, I will have to stop by 98 pickford and cover this baby!
HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!
Amy, ???? anything anything anything???
Just an FYI: The annual memorial day parade that has been a staple in the twin cities for the past 65 yrs, has been cancelled this year. It was the city of Tonawanda's turn to host and unfortunately they could not secure a marching band, hence its cancelled, I KNOW! I KNOW!
enjoy this weekend all!

All that matters is that I am still in the running to win! Whats the pot at?

No Memorial Day Parade?!?!?! I am devastated! The people watching at that parade could only be topped by those found at the Canal Fest!

I love charts. Thanks KDH.

I can't believe there's no parade. Bummer.
I think something special is going to happen tonight.

Jll. when's moving day?

Like the fact that I am "lookin good" for Monday. The allegation was made once upon a time that Tonawanda was capable of screwing up a one man parade. Is that the case? My Daddie used to march in the memorial day parade with Shine Meisner and Sonny Reidel and the story goes that most years they were the only ones in step. Now, that is all gone by the wayside. Tiki Hut was not the same yesterday w/o nc jnn.

Got caught up on the last blog. Way to go Zach. Having a batting average is something that they can never take away. When I was still coaching baseball I had a pitcher with an ERA of infinity. He could not seem to ever getthat first elusive out.

Can I move my square from the 23rd to Monday?

Just a thought..... Thank you for supporting the Tiki Hut. I punched in last night at 6 and never left until 830. Busy Busy Busy.

It seems as though I will be working mass amount of hours starting Monday. Are there any good hotels in EA? Is the bed and breakfast on Grover Road all booked?

I love charts! Great job KDH!

nice job KDH...tomorrow I am on for a HC and a dye job, the hairdresser is a hop skip and a jump from JT, and I am so covering the rest of the days.
Am I able to update said chart?
thrillie must be moving soon, as huge garbage bag is outside of her room?
Maybe she will leave in the middle of the nite like the baltimore colts did?

said chart might be tricky to change since I have the source files here on my computer -- just send me the info, and we'll keep it up to date!

Happy Saturday family! I'm hard at work this memorial day weekend (though there may be breaks later on to go sit by the pool) What's new in WNY?

Just sitting by the phone waiting. At least last year there was a Holtzapalooza planning picnic. this year, real quiet. Have a good one all.

here it is, two days after Dday and... nothin. we got nothin. we've tried EVERYTHING and the lil sucker just doesn't want to come out. At least we know that the lil one will be born sometime within the next 6 days. we hope.

I think THOSE PEOPLE are delaying this deliberately just to try to win the pool. I can't even get excited watching the baseball results.

July 1st is the projected move in date JFF. More details to come.

Folks after waiting 4 months...I have FINALLY gotten the results of the probation officer trainee exam I took back in February. Seems as though I am 44th in line out of over 1000 people to get an interview. Pretty good, but I would have rather been #1.

well here it is Memorial Day, the official opening of the summer! And it is a glorious one, sunny, warm, tipping my hat to the powers that be for such a beautiful day!
who would have ever thunk Joe Torre booed in the bronx!
enjoy your day family!
I know I will!

Sounds like things are going great for nc jll. Lots of good stuff happening. Me, I just sit and wait for the phone to ring. My 9 pm time tonite is looming quickly. COME ON AMY! First Socks sweep in Texas in 34 years? I really hate to admit this, but on Sat. Abreau got screwed on the ball/strike count, and yesterday it should have been a called third strike on the Angels pinch hitter. It has to be tough times when nphw jff has nothing to say.

Happy Memorial Day family! I hope someone got out to the graveyard to spruce up Grandpa's grave? I did it in my head, but that's not much help.

Crazy end to the nascar race yesterday -- all the leaders ran out of gas with 5 laps to go and had to pit -- so the second string ended up winner. Crazy stuff after 600 miles!

As of right now, memorial day is not an official KDHRC holiday ... boo hiss!

Not to worry KDH.
Head stone cleaned, weeds pulled, flag in place, geranium in place, a salute and a toast.
Now I know for a fact, that grampa never really spoke of his military career, and openly told anyone who would listen he was scared to death, you gotta kind of admire that in a soldier.
KDH, I think in honor of grampa today you should wear his overcoat! its chilly there, right?
KDH, also thought of you when I heard a plane to Atlanta was delayed in Washington DC as there was an emergency landing because they had to deliver a baby. Glad you were not on that flight!

Did you know that Mr Fix-it was ONE MONTH OVERDUE!!!That might be why he was a 12 pounder!...had to make sure everything was just so...hang in there Amy!

We had an enjoyable weekend in Butler, PA. My silence was duue to that, that and the fact my Yankees are imploding. At least Jeter has a shot at MVP again. I wasn't around for the summer of '49 but truly enjoyed the summer of '78. So... I'm kind of hoping for another miracle finish in the summer of '07. Wouldn't that be something. Seems like we have a 29 year thing going. Hmmmmm...

Good mornin', looks like it's going to be a niice day. Enjoy it all.
Good luck Amy.

Hope everyone enjoyed a most wonderful weather weekend!
Had my mother over last evening for some bar b que chicken, and strawberry shortcake. It seems she did lunch with my sister, a burger at the river. Mr fixxitt was no where to be found. Apparently at there memorial day picnic some friends had asked him some new car questions, which he did not have the ans to, so per my sister he spent memorial day reading his new car manual! Well we all choose to celebrate in our own way!
I have the utmost faith in my boys in the pinstripes! We have 130 games to go. have faith nephew!
Next to be fired??? Kevin Long, hitting coach. Could cano have looked more ridiculous at the plate yesterday!
Did everyone see the snippit of the ms universe pagent and ms USA fell??? and the crowd booed!
Does anyone care that they started the stanley cup playoffs???
amy, ????? how are you doing??
well its tuesday, and you all know what that means???

Anonymous said...

What does Tuesday mean? Do tell!

Sounds like Gram had a much more exciting and busy weekend than me ... I just waited by the phone to hear news from Quincy.

Poor Miss USA ...

Plenty of games yet, I'm not worried Aunt B.

I almost hate to admit that i spent another tuesday on the golf course at Byrncliff and then pinochle during the afternoon. Maybe that is what Tuesday means: golf and pinochle. Sounds like Mom did real well this Memorial Day weekend visitation wise. I think that I will head down and watch the Yanks and Bluejays. Yes, there is hockey. Who do we root for????

I just...
