Its exciting times i'm living in people... freshly married, in school full time to get my master's degree, and basically just living the dream. I wanted to give you all a taste of what its really like living my life, so you can get a better glimpse into my own particular form of celebrity.
I set my alarm each and every morning for 8:59am. Just in time to turn over and watch Regis and Kelly. I hate to admit it, but I have a bit of a crush on Ms. Kelly Ripa. I think its her intellect. Here's a little picture my wife snapped of me watching my favorite show.
Of course, the tv watching isn't over after Regis and Kelly. The Price is Right is a mainstay in this man's life... I just love watching the little old ladies mosey on down to contenstants row, with their walkers and canes. Its a hoot! And Bob Barker is truly a dreamboat. Of course, I do take a bit of pride in knowing that if I really wanted to, I could totally kick ass and win the car.
Anyhoo, after 3 strenuous hours of gameshow watching, I get a bit peckish, so I usually head to my favorite local dining establishment and grab a small bite to eat. Remember, its tough keeping my girlish figure, so I don't eat much. The waitress was able to snap a shot of me eating a light meal. Its pretty flattering, if I do say so myself.
Of course, after a meal like that, I need to get some exercise in. So I usually head on down to the local golf course and work on my swing. Its not easy having a father who's working on 100 consecutive months of playing golf, but I like to think that I can keep up with the guy. As you can see, my swing is perfect. Aww who am I kidding, I put this picture in just to play up to cousin Jffs "proclivities".
Finally, at the end of the day, its time to thank my wife for supporting my sorry butt while I live such a wild and crazy lifestyle. Usually, I do this by sitting on the couch while she makes me dinner, complaining about how bored i am. However last night, I decided that I'd take her dancing. She loves dancing! Here's a picture of the two of us cutting a rug, ballroom style. She says she slipped, and I believe her.

Hard to believe that old Bob is still alive!! Gotta dig that grey doo!
That was funny. Good one Adam. Why would Amy want to take pictures of you watching Regis? I love kangaroos!!! Are you as turned on as me?
Sandra, what are you doing watching the Price is Right? You're supposed to be our bread winner.
antie b! don't be embarassed! I love all types of condiments on burger!
Go Adam! Nice to see that you're hard at work over your break. And WHAT an exciting day YOU had! Jimmy, can you even stand the excitement?
Adam!! You have inspired me!! I am going back to school so I can live the life of luxury.
Mike Mularky resigned!!!
whats up all of course i am checking the site during my english class. did anyone read catcher in the rye. well i have to work on my paper. GO STEELERS
I read catcher in the rye, jimmy. It's all about Holden Lenin, the Russian musician. Good stuff there -- good stuff.
Family, its so foggy here in DC that I can't see out my office windows. VERY creepy indeed.
Jimmy, c'mon man... catcher in the rye? its all about the great yankee, Mickey Mantle! wait, he wasn't a catcher, but he sure did like the Rye! That'll teach you, Jff, for all the redsux comments.
coulda gone with billy martin there too.
so jff gets 78 comments and i get 14? what the hell is wrong with you people? Jimmy, show a brotha some love!
Thrillie, really?
It's all about the numbers.
Jff, Jff, Jff. Please tell me you read Catcher in the Rye. I modeled my life around holden caufield. and seriously, the things 100 pages long. best book ever. Read it for me? we can talk about where the ducks go when your done. Or who really is the Catcher in the Rye... is it Holden? is it Allie kid? Is it the flit?
Flick?, Flick who?
I have no desire to read "Catcher in the Rye". I'm reading "Where would you rather be, than right here, right now" by Coach Marv Levy. Before that it took me 4 months to read the Lou Gehrig book (thanks Jnna). Then I have to study for fantasy baseball. I'm too busy.
But I always have enough time in my life to remind you how bad the RedSux are going to be this year. Oh, their going to be so bad.
YEAR TWO THOU-SAND clap clap clap clap clap. YEAR TWO THOU-SAND clap clap clap clap clap. THat'd work better if you could hear it.
Cousin Adam, I am so sorry I haven't been active on your post as I was Jeffrey's.Your post was inpsiring. In fact, it makes me want to go back to school.
When is Unkie C and Aunt P coming back? Any new developments?
Adam, is it true what they say about the size of shoe equates to the size a aaaahhhhh......
Well, in your dance picture I just realized that Amy's shoe... nevermind, maybe she's wearing a friend's shoe.
I brought out the tent last night and set it up (getting ready for Holtzapalooza). It was probably a bad night to sleep outside with the kids though... Brrrrrr. Bad parent, bad.
Morning family -- big day here in DC, as the Redskins have a playoff game this afternoon, and anticipation is thick in air. Of course, as a staunch Bills fan, my season ended long ago -- perhaps sometime in October. But given that "football" is a good reason to "drink", I may find it in my heart to be a fair weather fan. Is that just wrong?
Sorry Auntie B, Jnna, Thrllie, Geo, that you caught that dreaded Asian bird flu. Bummer. We'll send flowers, if untreated you have 10 days to enjoy life. I'd move from Buffalo, between the weather and One Bills Drive there's too mmuch confusion outside in the area.
Prof. KDH, enjoy today's game as a pseudo fan and drink til hearts content. Have a bourbon on me.
P.S. KDH, we seem to have lost the directions and chart for the Christmas game. Can we have a new one, lamenated, in colors, with a scale on the side? Gee, thanks.
Cousin Jeff, I have not heard anything back from Aerosmith regarding our shindig. However, after repeated E-mails and phone calls, I have been slapped with a restraining order.
Instead, I have a plan B. The Dixie Chickletts and Shania Twin (recently played at the Riveria for a sold out crowd), are very interested in our Holtzapalooza. Should we move further on this?
Regarding our Holtzapalooza; could we ask Lou's to cater? So many questions! So little time!
Cousin Adam,
Where is Amy? Will we ever hear from her? Have her give us a shot out! What does she think of your blog writing talent?
Speak for yourself Mother!! I can not wait for Hostel 2 to come out!! Jeff and Sandra would you two like a movie night? I highly recommend Hostel. I will babysit.
On a side note, GO BILLS!! Oh wait, they aren't in the playoffs! Okay, GO SABRES!!
Rick? You promised you would post after Christmas! Where are you?
Fargofan have you abandoned us? Jimmy? Where are you?
Adam, I am really helping with the comment count, Do I get a prize?
Okay, Major AWARD!
1. Go ahead with Lou's catering.
2. Would love a night on the town.
2A. But, not to see Hostel
3. Lil' Ricky no longer exists.
4. RedSux
5. I have off on Monday (MLK, even my boss is working )
6. I'm spending it all day with Jimmy
Catcher in the Rye? Why does everyone like this book?
Holden Caulfield, the antithesis of a hero? What does that even mean?
Thrillie, I want to hear about the prostitute thing.
where did you get that antithesis of a hero from? been reading the cliff's notes? 10-1???? where did these sabres come from?
Jff, no comment about the dixie chickletts or shania twin?
Jeff and all other fury animal lovers: Saturday Jan 21st is Squirrel Appreciation Day.
Good for you Thrillie, don't let the bird flu keep you from the bars. Even if you do get home only shortly after midnight. I'm still trying to get over the fact that Jff, my childhood idol never read "Catcher in the Rye". That's messed up, man.
Chicklet Twins??? Sure!
"Antithesis of a hero" came from the internet. Gotta love Google.
$5??? I could've dropped one of my lawn mowing jobs.
