Rick, Checking In

First, the sad news. Stacy and I did not eat wings on Wednesday. That ended our consecutive days eaten string at 5 days, falling short of our previous record of 8. We'll try and do better on our next trip up, which needs to happen more often. The good news was that our return trip to Asheville checked in at over two hours less than Friday's drive. Still, 11 and a hours is a long time in a car. But it was all well worth it as we had an awesome time from beginning to end. There's plenty of photos already posted, so I'll try not to duplicate the effort. But here's some more.

A year in the making

Well we are only 5 days away from the big event. Everything is going smoothly and no one is stressed at all! Gary and I are looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday. Just a couple of reminders:
- Ceremony is at 1:30pm and it is in the Chapel on Adam St., not the church on Broad.
- The easiest way to get to Pearl St. is to get off at the Elm St. exit off the 190 (in either direction). Make the left at Swan St. (like you are going to a Bisons game) and make the left onto Pearl St. The building is on the corner of Pearl and Seneca. Its a red brick building with a giant beer tap on it.
PARKING: parking is free on the street. There is a pay to park lot across from the reception on the corner of Pearl and Seneca St. There is plenty of parking on the other side of Seneca St. under the thruway. This parking will be free because there is no event going on at HSBC/Coca Cola Field.
Pearl St Grill also has a small parking lot behind their building. To get there you would go straight through the Seneca St. light, make the right onto exchange (underneath the thruway) and the right onto Franklin.
Elevator: There is an elevator in Pearl St. If you enter the building through the door on the corner of Pearl and Seneca. Walk towards the giant vats of beer and then turn left towards the bathrooms. The elevators are at the back of the restaurant. The stairs to the 2nd floor are on your right hand side when you walk into the restaurant.
Any questions??? Please let me know!
