I thought I posted last night, but I was so excited I must not have clicked on publish post. What great news!! Can't wait! If you need any help please let me know.
As you all know we have been working tirelessly on the garden walk and the campaign. Last night, I attended a meeting to which I was informed that 2 people were talking about my moms garden and in particular her "blueberry patch". Apparently we have had people drive by the house and not see a blueberry patch, so they were discouraged and this the trash talking has begun.

So very excited that OP has new residents!! Adm, how close are you to the stadium?? Can we park in your driveway? Will tailgating be permitted on your front lawn?
And most of all can we convert Oliver and Benjamin to be bills backers??? Can not say enough of how excited we are that you are giving WNY a try! We are here to do whatever needs to be done!
Yes so my daughter tells me that the COTGW has turned political! So shocked by that! Said daughter has even suggested flying in illegals to work the grounds, does she mean canadians? OR make Aunt Sue stay 24/7 either way it will get done! Adm, Amy and Family!! WELCOME HOME!

Back in a very green WNY after a much too brief vacay. Anyone know where I can get a herd of goats quick to subdue my lawn? Talked to Mom this AM and sounds like she had a really good 4th watching people work. Gotta get some stuff done fast. Atlanta Holtzes arrive tuesday and then the former Quincy Holtzes will be right behind them. I still can't believe that Adam and his family is actually coming to WNY, and just in time for football season. Looks like "the summer of Chuck" will be a busy one, but one to be looked forward to. Once we are past that, it will be election season and we all know what that brings. Auntie is a little the worse for wear after sitting thru 2000 miles of forest fires, flash floods, wild horses in the middle of the highway, stray prairie dogs and rattlesnake warnings. On a positive note, there were a number of bars with $1.75 PBR pints during happy hour. I have a hunch that she is going to recover quickly and put me to work. Enjoy the day and the rest of the weekend.

Someone buy Auntie a rum and coke or a nice glass of Cabernet.

so happy. I'm not sure well be back in time for Aug 10th. We should be coming home that day from NC.

$1.75 PBRs?

Off to allegiance Thursday morning. Zachary has a soccer game on Wednesday night and does not want to miss it. Now, who does that sound like?

so while I slaved away at my desk yesterday, who am I kidding I spend my whole day trying to get the dirt out frm under my nails, my sister came to the house and planted flowers!!! I hate to say it folks, but if it was not for my sister's competetive spirit in the GW extravaganza, " walkers" would have shown up at my house, looked a half dead geranium in a pot, but i would have served beer as an equalizer! So it sounds like the COTGW has spectators coming from far and wide! so excited to see the H-T gang!
So coming in this morning, I heard on the radio that a die hard Cleveland Brown's fan had passed away and in his will he had stipulated that 6 members of the team be his pallbearers, so that they could let him down one last time! Loved that line!
choose your words carefully today, its tuesday!

Yes, $1.75 PBR's. I guess there is something to be said for life in the west. Off to the airport to meet the H=T group. Hoping that the weather improves a bit. Looks like a good forecast for Sat. With all of the time and effort put into the GW its only fitting. Take care all.

Just want to go on record saying that the most tiny and perfect hAnd and finger prints will never be washed off the back door!

Thank you so much to my sisters who, besides putting together a beautiful yard, found time to put together a great party. The food was delicious, and the company wonderful as always. Thank you again. Enjoy the day.

We're sorry we missed it. Sandra sent us a picture of your cake with the candles. We may need a bigger cake next year to fit the additional candle.

mmm I did two posts from my Kindle that never showed up??? What is up with that??? They were schmaltzy stuff about baby prints on the glass of the door, me never washing off, yada yada yada, and the smoke filling the backyard from the multitude of candles blown out at once...
Happy Monday! I quess our summer is here with this glorious weather! 7-1-5 are great numbers to play! Other than that, now that the COTGW is over, we can focus on the Quincy Clan coming to town!
Enjoy this work week, as it will be a full one!

I kept looking around last nite for familiar faces at the concert, but saw none. I knew that nphw jff was a big concert fan, but am I the only "true belieber" in the family? The concert was "awesome" to say the very least, almost as exciting as all of the big moves that the Sabres have been making. today I am going down to hang out by the skyway and try to get photographed. Summer in WNY and so many things to do. And thanks for the wisecracks about smoke and a bigger cake. Your time will come.

Happy Tuesday, or what is known in the working world, I can not wait til Friday! Actually isnt every day referred to that?? other than Friday of course. I hear A-Rod hit a HR in Double A, on the comeback trail, I tell you! Working hard to round up movers and shakers for 08/01, so far I have geo and gramma. Hoping Austin can get the day off, as we can work him to death, and just feed him! Good Luck to my brother, trying to get discovered on the Skyway, just make sure you are out of the way when they open it up! I hear my brother wants to take one last ride to Quincy for old time sakes??? Enjoy this sticky sticky weather!

I have to tell you I am not a hot weather person, sunny and 70 all day long, yes that is me! Work is quiet as everyone is on vacation! eric has been posting some awesome pix of the Alaska adventure! Can not wait to hear more about that! Other than that I forgot my lunch and its only wed!

Not a big fan of the heat either. You know it's bad when we go to the movies, which we did. Yes, I know, there are "talkies" now too. An over the top Johnny Depp is always a good way to spend an afternoon. Nothing says "47 yrs. of wedded bliss" like the Red Lobster. Stay cool my friends.

Ok I am over this heat wave! When it gets hot an sticky like this I am always reminded of the twilight zone episode, where everyone is sweltering, no power, no ice, nothing, and in the end the girl is just dreaming, as they are all freezing! so I quess be careful what we wish for! Other than that not to much else going on, mini baseball break, golf, and something about mehta world peace??? Stay cool calm and collected today!

JT said...

Omg this heat is wearing me down. I feel hot and cranky.
Ok, I have to do something tomorrow. I'm thinking golf and beers.

HIp Hip Hooray, it is Friday! Double UGH to this heat! so yesterday i took a one hour yoga class during lunch, needless to say I was down for the count for the day! But I am going to try and cont with this yoga regiment! So it is the final weekend of canal fest, cookie and gary are off to Chicago, for a concert and baseball came, and just a weekend in Wrigleyville! Other than that not to much else going on, just waiting for this heat to break! keep your h2o handy today!

I sure had the covers pulled up over my head last nite. Wow. There was some flashing and banging. From reports, it seems as if it was a good thing that the garden walk was last sat. and not today. It is cooler though. Enjoy the day.

We did enjoy the day. We spent the whole day at Ll
Ime Lake. What a day. Fishing, eating, relaxing... Just wonderful.
Today? Hmmmmmmm... Maybe just yard work.

Here's hoping that the power is soon back on at 431 and the clean up completed. Enjoyed watching "Lefty" yesterday in the Open. Playing myself today but doubting that my round will be anything like his.
